Grace "Juice" O’Rourke is a playwright often, and a director/screenwriter/actor occasionally. They graduated from Mount Holyoke College with BA in English & Theater/Film, and studied at the National Theater Institute as part of the Advanced Playwrights Spring '22 cohort. Their plays have been performed with the Tank, the Chain Theatre, the Makers’ Ensemble, the Lighthouse Ladies Collective, Fresh Binder Productions, Epheverie Theatre Co., the Emerging Artists Theater, and more. They are the recipient of the 2023 Denis Johnston Playwriting Award, a Semifinalist for the 2024 and 2025 SheNYC Festivals, a member of The Cult Collective's 2025-26 Queerspeech cohort, and a Playwriting MFA candidate at Brooklyn College.
Their work tends to be containers for: tragicomedy, small oddities, large magics, bickering, religious themes, poetic violence, precious and specific objects, and the unexplained.
